Harry Potter guided walking tour of Edinburgh
Weave your way through the streets and alleyways of the historic city of Edinburgh, learn of the magical locations and mythical tales that inspired JK Rowling as she formed her plot and characters for the Harry Potter series.
Potion-making class
Use your technology-filled magic wand at an interactive work-station and brew two molecular cocktails, each of which have different properties and effects. How about the Serum of Loose Lips? Or the Dragon’s Breath?
Day trip to ride the Hogwarts Express (Jacobite Steam Train)
Travel through stunning scenery, stopping to take in some of the amazing backdrops used for the Harry Potter series of films. From a special viewing platform, watch the morning service of the Jacobite Steam Train travel across the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct before heading to catch the afternoon service and enjoy a return journey from Fort William to Mallaig. Feel like you’re being transported to the magical world of Hogwarts as you enjoy spectacular views over Loch Shiel, filming location of the Great Lake. This is truly one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world.
Guided tour of Alnwick Castle
Take a few hours to explore the castle, including a 45-minute ‘Alnwick on Location’ guided tour, a cinematic journey around the castle grounds, which have played a part in historical features, Shakespeare adaptations and, of course, two Harry Potter films.
Visits to iconic filming locations
Walk the corridors made famous by Harry and his fellow students. Watch out for Dementors in the underpass where Dudley was besieged. Visit Professor McGonnagal’s classroom. Or take a selfie at Hogsmeade station.
Owl-handling experience
Get up-close and personal to the wizarding world’s feathered friends with this incredible opportunity to fly a variety of owls.

TRANSPORTATION
We offer transportation throughout the tour either in our executive 8-seater Mercedes-Benz Vito or a minibus for larger groups, so you can sit back and enjoy the company of your fellow tour guests.
For travelling around Edinburgh, we will either be on foot or using public transport. Any journeys on public transport are included.
ACCOMMODATION
We source unique accommodation for each tour, often steering away from hotels to find quirkier places for exclusive use by your group.
